The oil is always good, but this new scent is fantastic. Smells much more like cologne than some other scents, but it's not overpowering considering it's on your face. I normally get the Bootlegger, but I think I've found my new scent!
Cumberland is a winner all the way. The oil itself is great as always, but the scent is a homerun. Reminds me a little of Drakkar Noir cologne, but not as potent. Smells very nice. You will like this. Great job, SMBCo!!
If you're new here, Cumberland and Bear's Den are new scents just recently introduced as of writing this. As I said in reviewing the other one, this is not about the quality or benefits as the products are simply awesome. This is about the smell. Between the two new scents though, this is my standout favorite. While Bear's Den smells a lot like one of the other scents to me, this one is completely unique and not like anything else offered. It is also really hard to describe. The best I can come up with is (like one of the other reviewers said) a really, really nice cologne. It's like a cologne that's not overpowering and could give you a headache though. It's light, a bit sweet, and a bit musky. Whatever he's got going together in this one is just really, seriously nice. For me, Bootlegger has always been my favorite, and while this is nothing like that one to me, it's the first one that's actually giving Bootlegger a run for its money in my order of favorites. If you're a Smoky Mountain Beards faithful follower and regular patron, absolutely try this one first. Its uniqueness deserves to be experienced.
I first purchased White Lightning a few months back- and loved the results. Deciding to branch out and give Cumberland a try was a great decision. The oil smells amazing! These products are my favorite pick up technique- "Hey, smell my beard" almost always gets the right response. Most beard oil smells like a leather saddlebag holding a pine forest- but these products are light, fragrant, and masculine. Love it!
This and the other new fragrance "Bears Den" are two of my new favorites. Cumberland smells like a rich and sophisticated cologne. I can't say which I like best. It's in my rotation of favorites now. You can't go wrong with this, Bears Den, or Bootlegger in my opinion. The mountain creek is on top of my list too. Shoot, there all good. White Lightning, Blue Grass... you won't make a bad choice. Try this though. You'll like it. If your still not sure then go with the Bears Den or Bootlegger. You can't go wrong!
